Welcome to my e-portfolio! My name is Aira Sanchez, and I am a senior nursing student at Cecil College, currently pursuing my Associate of Science in Nursing. As I prepare to transition into professional practice, I am eager to apply my knowledge, clinical skills, and compassionate approach to patient care in a healthcare setting.

I have developed a strong passion for critical care and thrive in fast-paced environments that challenge me to think critically and respond effectively. Through my academic and clinical experiences, I have built a solid foundation in patient-centered care, communication, and teamwork, all of which I am excited to continue strengthening as I begin my nursing career.

I currently work at a dermatology practice as a Certified Medical Assistant, where I assist with patient care, support clinical procedures, and help ensure a positive patient experience. Through this role, I have strengthened my communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment. My experience has further reinforced my commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care.

This portfolio reflects my growth as a student and healthcare professional, as well as my readiness to continue advancing in the nursing field. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a clinical setting while continuing to learn and grow within the profession.

Outside of my professional and academic life, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, and reading. I am also a proud dog owner of five, which keeps life both busy and rewarding.
